The Smt. Rani Adaikalaraj Education and Charitable Trust was started in the year 1996 under the vision of our founder Thiru. L. Adaikalaraj Ex. Member of Parliament from Trichy Constituency for four consecutive terms.
It was his vision to provide quality education to the masses so that the youth would get the opportunity to equip themselves with knowledge and skills by which they become contributing citizens for their families and also the society, thereby building the nation.
Jenneys College of Nursing was started in the year 2010 with the aim to provide compassionate, caring, skilled and well trained nurses with the focus to serve the weak and sick with utmost care by providing quality nursing education and preparing nurses with the highest level of education and practice.
The College is affiliated to the TamilNadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai and is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) New Delhi, and the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai. The eminent faculty members and staff are committed to develop nursing personnel through quality education and training.

Objectives
1. Applies knowledge from physical, biological and behavioral sciences, medicine including alternative systems in providing nursing care to individuals, families and community.
2. Provides nursing care using critical thinking skills based on steps of the nursing process and utilizes the latest technology and trends in providing health care.
3. Provides preventive, promotive and restorative health services in line with the National health policies and program.
4. Communicates effectively with individuals, groups and members of the health team and demonstrates skills in teaching to individuals and groups.
5. Practices within the framework of code of ethics and professional conduct and acceptable standards of practice within the legal boundaries.
6. Demonstrate leadership and managerial skills and conduct need based research study in clinical/community health setting to improve the quality of services.
